Gen II front mirrors that incorporate signal lights

Greeting to all!

I'm looking to replace the front mirrors on my GenII with a set that incorporates signals within the mirror housing. I find the factory signal/marker lighting on the FJR to be the weakest point of this fabulous machine. Visibility is our only defense to the opposing motorist!! While the headlights are superb, the turn signals are not! !

Is there some crafty idea that one of you could share with me concerning this? I'm looking to add ANY marker/signal lighting idea that looks cosmetically appropriate for the bike. Also, I'm looking to convert all markers to LED and would like to see what you have done thus far.
