Not really. I use two SST bolts which can be removed pretty easily.

I was having a little trouble figuring out the exact price you have on your product when I read through the thread. How much is the large rack and the backrest? Together and individually... Black powdercoat for a 2009. Is the price better if bought as a set? Thanks!

Wow, just WOW! The craftsmanship in this rack is superb. Gary is a great man who really stands behind his work. He was able to rush it to me in time for a big trip, and the large rack was exactly what I needed! Powder coated to color match my '08 without ever looking at it. Looks like it could have come with the bike! I love this thing!
