Gen2 mirror extensions - Custom made

Yeah, they're pretty sweet. Can't see the back of my head, but can see the entire width of the lane about 15-20 feet behind me, from each side.

Do you know if they stick out even more than the FZ-1 MIRRORS...

Just based on those photos, I would definitely say yes.

Took a ride over to the barn to visit the Gen1 and take some measurements. Width across the widest point with FZ1 mirrors is nearly identical - 43 3/4 inches on both bikes. The sadllebags are 37 inches wide.

D'oh! Guess I should have said 'possibly yes'. :blink:

I assume these are higher, and they look a heck of a lot better the the FZ-1 mirrors.

If they are the same or close to the width of the FZ-1 mirrors i'd be interested..

Added springs and changed the hex head to an allen bolt, so the mirrors will pull back in a tipover with less damage.

They don't lock into a notch like stock, but it's better. The mirrors won't rotate back at speed, but an impact will move them.
