"Falling rock hits cycle passenger

Glacier National Park officials say a motorcycle passenger was briefly knocked unconscious after being struck by falling rock on the Going-to-the-Sun road.

Officials say the passenger was hit by a 10- to 15- pound rock at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday near Triple Arches, west of Logan pass. The person was wearing a helmet. No other injuries were reported.

The passenger, who was not identified, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment."

Ouch. Be careful out there. All the wet weather has left the mountains soggy and there is lots of rock fall.
