Well you could be right about that, but you could always BLOW it up (to see better ya know).Probably too small to capture on a pic to see anywayAfter riding a while, I don't need to post a documentation pic that me testicles didn't fall off do I ? Would you guys and gals just take my most honorable word for that ?

When running at 30 psi the weave started at 200 kph. At 35 psi it starts at 210 kph. Not ideal, but not too bad - keeps me out of (more) trouble.I understand about the weave, but have only experienced it above 220 kph or so with the Bridgestone 019G, and then not very bad.
Thanks for the offer. I will do some investigation, firstly just to see if I can find another tyre - maybe there are more options by now - and secondly, perhaps I can get a tyre shop to import an Exalto for me. If I don't come right, or the costs are exorbitant and your offer still stands we can pursue it further. Thanks again.Do you have any info on what costs would be for having a tire shipped to you? Or any problems with doing so? PM or email me with your shipping address and I'll check from this end.
Never crossed my mind.....not a big fan of capers. But a little lemon zest would do it for me.Fixed it for you RH, since you like to eat as much as I do, I'm really surprised you missed this!A nice cream sauce, capers and sliced portabellos. What do they put on the Mini Coopers down there?
That "5 month tire change" IS a PITA, ain't it!Can't believe I'm considering this, haven't visited the site for months, but just spent WAY too much of my day looking over this thread.
Heck, I just came out here as I prepare to replace plugs and do a general 45k maintenance pulling all the tupperware and going over everything under there. (plugs, valve check, recheck spiders/harness, plus install new GPS hardwired). h
I have a brand new PR2 I was planning to install next weekend, but now I'm thinking I'm sick of a tire change every 5 months. Or take one off that still have SOME life, but not enough for a trip i want to take.
Easy answer -- yes. Complete answer -- get a friend or two to help. The stiffer sidewalls CAN (not necessarily WILL) make the job a bit more challenging.Firstly, I normally use my Harbor Freight changer to change my tires. Can I do that with the CT?
You'll be pleasantly surprised to discover that, with a good quality CT as you mention below, once you break the CT in and get used to the different feel of it, your riding style might actually become MORE aggressive, as your confidence factor with all that extra traction "out back" improves.I know these aren't being used for Deal's Gap type twisties on a daily basis, but in my 45 mile or so each way commute, I do touch pegs a few times each way on my local roads, (then 40 miles of turnpike) Not super fast and I don't consider it super aggressive, but I do normally get that far over on daily basis just to bring a smile to my face before I start my workday. Will the car tire still do that?
See my paragraph above.I have 3 trips to North Georgia and Carolina'a in the next 4 months. I'll still be able to ride normally up there, right? I'd hate to find myself trying to get my GPS to locate straight roads so I can avoid all those silly curves!!
You will still be making a fool of yourself, and risking the validity of your license, with a CT mounted. How fast are you guys riding on Interstate, how fast have you taken these tires? I don't ride 90-100 all day every day, but sometimes... , I have to be able to do that just as comfortably as I do now, especially if making trips out West or in clear areas where I'm making time and eating miles.
I'm running the Pilot A/S Plus and am thrilled with it. But I think it's still too early in this Forum-wide "experiment" to determine a "one better than the other" quotient.SO, after reading much of this, I'm thinking of either the Michelin Exalto or the Pilot A/S Plus. Specs are almost identical.
Is one better than the other?
Despite appearances to the contrary, we REALLY are here to assist. With a real quality CT, such as either Michelin, I'd be very surprised if you were unhappy coming to the Darkside. Thanks for your thoughts on this!
Oh for the Love of God johnny80s, don't encourage these CT whack jobs; you do know what will come next don't you, a streaming video of RadioHowie biting fart bubbles in his bathtub!!! jes' sayin'This is great thread. It never dies. I am not looking to put a car tire on my bike but it is great to read about what you guys are doing.
Good luck.

Obviously the picture didn't show, so I'll spend a bit of time learning tonight when I have some time and try again. Maybe if you go to the photobucket acct. you can see it.
