I didn't vote, but I recently began experiencing a few of the grounding problems (flaky gauges, occasionally dies and hard to start, cut out once on freeway), but the bike hasn't completely shut down. The sad thing is, this bike has really low miles (at 1500). I notified the dealer, but they won't tear into the bike for a looksie. Hence, I've written Yamaha a nasty letter about this problem, and their lack of attention on any action. Thus, their response will determine what I'll do next... In any case, please put me on the list (PM to follow). Personally, I appreciate your hard work getting this harness together. You'd think Yamaha would work something out???

What you SHOULD be doing is filing a complaint with the NHTSA

I can do that...and will. I didn't think my situation would hold water with the NHTSA.

Hi Brodie,

Put me on the list. I'll take one. Thanks in advance!! Great job on figuring this all out.

Does anyone know how this Brodie harness interacts with the Randy horn harness?
TIA

Spinblue, I can't say exactly but I can tell you my harness connects completely on its own. It shouldn't interfere with whatever else you install.

Hey guys I have an '03...do I need one of these too? Man I love wiring things. LMAO!!!

Randy

I have over 300 of the male spyder connectors Yamaha uses on the 2nd gen harnesses. Send me a PM and I'll send you as many as you want to install on your '03 just so you don't feel like you're left out.

:p

All kidding aside Brodie...excellent job. Real nice!

Hey - I'm getting close to getting mine - only 3 people in front of me in line . . . can't wait to get this installed . . . and take care of some other maintenance while I have her apart.

I'd like to buy one of these. Can you give me a price with shipping to 22193?
Thanks,

j

Hi jpcfjr

I am charging a blanket $10.00 fir shipping via UPS Ground. For some addresses it costs a bit more, others a bit less. On average $10 just about breaks even for me. When I have a Grounding Harness built for you I will send you a PM inviting you to my personal web site to make the PayPal transaction. The total cost will be $100.00 ( $90 + $10 shipping ).

Thank you for your interest in my work.

Brodie

Hi Brodie, excellent work. please put me on the list. I will follow up with a PM

Thanks

Don

My '07 has no issues so far, but taking preventative action. Brodie, please put me down for one.

Thanks, Ray.

Hey Brodie,

Would like to get one of your harnesses. I've already sent a PM but no response so thought I'd try this route if you are not away enjoying the summer weather.

thanks

noire

Please add me to the list for a grounding harness and thanks for all your efforts.

I await your PM.
