Hello FJRers,

I have been on several group rides over the years with people new to the idea. There are some rules that make it easier for everyone. Well known motorcycle journalist Nick Ienatsch's developed the concept of riding 'the pace' when in groups. This is not a new but with more group riding at FJR rallies it is a good idea to read and ride safe. And by safety I mean while on the ride, and later after a few drinks when the person riding behind you all day wants to punch your lights out! (Yes, I mean you MEM. Everyone take this as a warning, she's a woman on the edge!!) :winksmiley:

It's been discussed here before. In NorCal we've been practicing this "style" for a few years now and it works well. Los tres amigos (Bluestreek, exskibum & mm2) are using that spacing, etc., on our ride to Nakusp. It's "habit" with us after doing so for many years.

I guess(?) there's no copy write on the term los tres amigos, as long a Rudy, Roberto, and I aren't in the same ride as you Como?.

Oh, and one more thing, I am coining the title "Amigo Numero Uno". :p

You guys ride safe and be sure to write.
