Best of luck with your proceedure and recovery, Grumpy! But, who's gonna supervise HaulinAshe during this time? Damn boy'll end up in prison.

I'm looking forward to riding with you again at EOM.
You know that grueling 65 day cruise? Well, it partly falls during EOM '08, so none of us will be riding w/ Grumpy except in spirit.

Mr Dude (aka Grumpy), I will be waiting to hear from you (through Jeff, of course) about your surgery. Take it slow meester & will speak with you soon. Much, much well wishes, Heidi

Hey Grumpy! I hope your surgery went well today and your resting comfortably now!

And if you need a private nurse for that cruise, well u just let me know. ;)

Take care!!

Damn, Grumpy gets a 65-day cruise and an offer from FJRchik to be his private nurse! Maybe I should get something removed too. Wait a minute! Better not open that one up for the ex.

:(

No word from Grumpy yet. Hoping to hear soon.

Update on Grumpy...

Spoke with Grumpy himself this morning. Surgery went fine. Pain meds were good last night. He is hoping and expecting to be released from the hospital this afternoon.

Thats great to hear. The sooner he is out of that place the quicker the healing can begin. Hope it all went well there Jim.....

I didn't think guys your age still needed to get vasectomy's.

Great news. Hard to believe a hardened old guy like Grumpy will need six months to recover.

Grumpy,

Hope the heeling process goes well, with a 65 day cruise and FJRchik as your nurse you may need two recovery periods!

Gosh, thanks for all the nice wishes!! This is the first morning I havn't woke up wondering where the truck that ran over me went to, so I must be doing better. I understand that I'll mostly be over the operation it'self in about 2 weeks. However, it'll take a couple of months to sort out the food thing and 6 months before I'm totally healed. So for the moment, riding is not in the plans.......maybe this summer? Thanks again for everyone's wishes!

One day at a time Grumpy.. one day at a time.

..and if you need to be Grumpy to feel better, Jeff will stop by and let you hit him with an ugly stick..

Grumpy,

I'm sure glad to hear everything came out alright...pun intended. If it wasn't for the dead of winter up here, I'd jump on the FJR and come cheer you up. Nothing like a bunch of laughs right after surgery, aye-yah?
