+1 on the "Friends don't let friends drink Bud Light". Green Flash is the real deal. Racer5 IPA will do the job too. I've been in several bars here on the west coast that charge more for Bud, Coors, and Miller that for craft beers. They target the Harley crowd. Those folks are generally known to pay more for less!!

Omg that's never been so true lol.

I'm having to ride a Harley while my baby is sick. So lets refrain from to many Harley jokes.

Hrm took me awhile to get the throttle body out. Backside of the butterfly's look burnt?

Taking off the radiator here in a sec then the headers then out comes the drive shaft and out she comes.

Can you say excited?

I paused the only thing holding the engine is are the mounts.

I looked and the exhaust valves look OK but I'll post pictures for a second opinion. They look pretty gray. Maybe almost like ash? Also my splines were lubed up very well not disappointed in what I saw. I did realize the tire was shall we say installed a little off the the side? New tire will accompany this repair the other one is trash

My god lower mount bolt is lets say not wanting to move. I've managed to bend a wrench on my Allen key. :( .2 of a turn ever say 3 minutes. Letting wd40 soak for a bit. Every other mount bolt is lose and ready I have weight on the oil pan to free the stress. Any time now this god damn bolt can be on my team and come out.

Well found my t30 and its too small? What's size bit is the left foot peg torx?

So this is the last time the FJR will run for awhile.

There happy?

I wish I was closer.

I'm suggesting you call up your most mechanically inclined friend and bribing him or her into helping you.

When you pull on the coolant tube on the top of the head to take it off, Make sure you pull it straight out of the bores. Once again, DAMHIK.

Won't let me post a pic but the motor is out. Well sort of. I need someone to lift the frame whil I drag it out.

Also out of all my friends in the most mechanically inclined riding solo
