Riding along Oregon 7, running low on fuel, I decided to pull off to check on finding a gas station. I saw a level pull off up ahead, slowed down to a walking pace as I could see it was fresh gravel and wanted to be real slow when I got into it.
Well made it into the pull off OK, but just at feet down time the front wheel sank into a 6-8 inch rut that was covered by the gravel, instant stoppie, I was totally unprepared for that, blew me off the left side of the bike, and from what I can tell the bike got a bad rashed up left side bag and mirror, nothing actual broke.
Me, when to pick up the bike found left arm couldn't bear any weight, broken collar bone :angry2: crap. Have to see how this works out, Right now pumped up on ibuprofen and percocet, so I'm feeling pretty good, I feel pretty on so pretty
Two vendors I want to thank
Premier Cycle, their TOGs Worked, saved alot of damage on that gravel.
Russell's Towing 800-693-6672 Mardras, OR.
came right away, took great care loading and tyeing the bike down on the tilt bed, took me a Motel, unloaded the bike, took me to the emergency room, picked me up from the emergency room, took me to a pharmacy to fill the prescription, and back to the motel.
All that and the tow bill came to less than $150, of course I gave him extra, he didn't want to take it, but I made him.
