Not really. I've just installed a pigtail cable on each bike (two on the FJR since it's my 2-up machine) and keep the hardwired heat-troller in the pockets of our jackets. Easy peasy
Yep...that's griff did for me. Pigtail(s) on the FJR for wifey and me.

I use a belt clip for the controller...I can adjust the heat levels on the fly.

EDIT: I do see the usefulness of the wireless remote though...for sure.

I opted for the "powered remote" heat troller to avoid the hassle of batteries.
Hudson, don't you have 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 bikes. Kind of hard to move that hard wire troller from bike to bike... just saying .. ;)
Only one I really need the vest for. Bonnie is for fair weather, and the husky no have enough juice.

I'm done with Tourmaster. The controllers don't last, the wires pull out of the jacket, and it pisses me off to have to keep returning the vests. At least w&s is willing to give me $60 on trade in and a $30 advrider discount. That's about close to what I paid for the vest. Not having to wonder if it works is worth the extra dough.

Spring riding time...got warm gear?

I sure wish someone would put together a group buy on this stuff

Once in a while you'll see stuff on sale, but not often....... overall you can't beat the Warm & Safe prices if you register as a participant in a motorcycle group. You'll see quite a discount and their stuff is top notch, and if you ever have an issue you'll be looked after.

+1 - Ray gave you great advice.

I've been using the crap out of my First Gear (made by, and exactly the same as Warm & Safe) Heated liner and gloves for the past two winters and it is like night and day vs. having to bundled up like the Michelin man.

You'll have no problem running a 90W liner and a pair of heated gloves on your '05 as long as you don't also run any hi power aux lights. If you do, make sure that you have a battery voltmeter installed so you can watch the charging voltage.
