If any of you are also members of the FJR Owners forum, I would dearly love some help getting in there.

I registered weeks ago, and never heard back from them, and there is no way to contact the admins without

logging on to do so.

Which I can't do since it informs me that I have an "inactive" account.......

and need to contact the administrator.

:angry2:

If anybody here has any ideas, I would be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Okay, while that's definitely funny, I am quite serious here. I'm simply trying to do as much research as I can before I buy. Things definitely appear to be a bit more "bare-knuckled" over there, but I am still interested in getting as many opinions as I can.

I'm not a troll.

I'm 44, married, with an 10 year old son, and a VTX 1800R that I'm looking to replace.

Admins have been MIA for quite some time. She's running on auto pilot. PM 'test pilot' here. He's a moderator over there and might be able to help - he's david1300, there.

Thanks for the tip. He got back to me quickly and we might have it figured out. I appreciate your help.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Then TWN has to come a long and be all helpful and shit. Sheesh man, your not really living up to that avatar! :p

Your welcome to look here to Marko, the classified section has been seeing some great deals on FJR's lately. There are lots of good posts about comparisons to other bikes. You can also read all the new ST comparison articles in various magazines, however, remember that they are rating the bikes based on different things. Sometimes the Honda is first and sometimes its last, that sort of difference makes it blatantly apparent that the ratings or Subjective and not Objective.

We also have a few guys who switched from vtx 1300's and 1800's to the FJR. If I remember correctly, all of them have stated they love the bike and never looked back.

No worries, man. I didn't take offense. I'm a huge Beavis and Butthead fan. Stupid as it is, I always found it an extremely relevant social commentary, and definitely an appropriate jab at a possible troll.

Since I'm not one, I just found it funny and explained myself to alleviate any doubt.

No need to apologize. I've been hanging around here for a couple weeks and doing my research.

There's another FJR forum? And they let you swear?
**** yeah they do. It's just that hardly it's like yelling, "Mother-fucking-cocksucker" in an empty house. Lots of echoes and nobody there to hear you.

However, if you try and link this forum over there...it gets replaced by &%*(# type characters that look like cuss words.....and then they ban you for trying to link.

Most of the old timers here used to be there until the Great Gold Room Exodus and Newman Purges of 2005. Those were heady days.

Dredging up ancient history. Most of us (Old Timers) were and many of us are members over there. Those were the "heady" days when the "Green Room" was the ONLY place to be for North American FJRs.

Igg, this thread is about Joos' .ws site, not Newman's.
Ooops. My bad.

The Gold Room soap opera is much more interesting, but not at all related. Can some admin come and delete my posts for me?

Does this forum have a historian? The whole saga sounds like it would make for some interesting reading. ... Or should I just move along -

I see there's a a "How to tell if you're gay" thread going.
Not that anybody is going to want or be able to put into to a concise post.....and not that would be reasonably accurate and lacking bias.

The Search button is your friend.
