Perhaps the marketing of the facility needs to be improved more than the facility itself. I had no idea they had track days. I thought this was only a drag strip with an oval. I thought Salt Lake was the closest place for track days. So, now that I know... Save SRP!

It's actually a blast to ride, pavement is in excellent shape. I would gladly spend the extra dollars and time(4+ hours) to travel to SRP than going to Pacific Raceway which is a local track to me! Did well over 30 track/race days over 5 years at SRP and would have done more except for the $$ and work issue. It's a high speed track with a few rises on the back side that will make you giddy as your front end lofts up in the air a couple of times while passing the 120mph(est.) mark. Saw many a literbike go down later in the day as time and concentration wound down. Most clubs will allow outsiders to join the fray for a nominal fee. Kind of out in the boonies...but well worth the trip. After a day of riding, a bunch of us would have dinner-buffet(and a grog) at the Longhorn resturaunt. Worst part was the drive back to Seattle with the sun in your eyes.

Best advice is to call the track and ask if any track days are going on and then contact the appropriate club that is hosting.

Cheers,

Bryce
