Someone asked whatever happend to Dale, (Warchild) and he deleted the thread... I added a nice comment but figured I should wait til after CFO to get booted... (so I went back and deleted it...)

I have no time left for Mr. Newman and his board now that he has stooped to this level....

This forum war bullshit is going to hurt the community overall. I hope it gets resolved quickly, and the forums get consolidated.

I am glad someone struck out and created a new forum on their own machines. Its more secure if only because your forum database is not colocated with all the other forums that EZboard hosts, as well as being cheaper, faster, and more usable. Its a no brainer.

Having allegiance to something like ezboard when there are such better options out there can only be likened to a "political" move of some sort and thats just crap. Nobody should be involved in motorcycles or chat forums for political reasons.

I was asking a normal question not knowing what happened to Dale and Greg and why they left.

I think the Marc is just upset, give it time, there is lots of room for everyone on the Internet, he needs to bring value to his web site to attract more hits.

It is pretty slow there now.

It was not my intent to have forum members switch over to this forum, but I guess Marc must of thought I did so he deleted the post.

It is sad that there is all this crap going on. There are multiple FJR forums out there that coexist just fine. Basically this comes down to what everything else does and that's what/who provides the best service, plain and simple. It's not personal, or at least should not be. If any paticular entity wants to keep membership, then provide the best product. If you can't, then tip your hat to the entity that can. It really is that simple.

This post pulling and other stuff should not be happening as well as dissing the other guy. Go where the best site is. If you like both, go to both. But don't get into the slinging of manure on either site. It doesn't prove any point or gain any value for anyone IMHO.

I had seen that thread, but not at the point where [seinfeld]Neeeeewman[/seinfeld] tried to pull the FJR Fund card (or forward).

I won't go into it here in public, but there have been other "situations" where a MN odd perspective was applied to something that really happened and it was then turned into a public tirade that continued for several years. It seemed like every time we met FtF he would try and corner me to start it up all over again (about someone else). I finally had to tell him to shove it up his ass to get him to leave me alone. :angry:

I don't expect he'll let this blow over any easier. Which is a shame, since apart from that his willingness to jump out with the EZ Board forum during the US infancy of the FJR had a positive impact on the FJR community.

I read the thread "What happened to Dale..." when it was still up. It ridiculous what has happened. I hope we can get away from these childish board wars with this forum. Glad there is a new start.

Funny, and sad.

We aren't skimming. People have the choice to stay, leave, or use both boards. It's clear that he's pushing people off his site with this attitude. Frankly, I will never visit the board again.

I run a large board and as soon as you start thumping people on the head you make them not want to be there. Communities should be open and you should be free to come and go as you please.

It's a blackeye for his community IMO...but I'm going to try to stay out of this soap opera aside from this post.
