Guess what was my this year's home improvement investment?
Yep, its seating improvement.
I did have (and still have) a heavy urge to buy the new 2016 FJR, but the offer for trade in of my current 2008 AS meant I should pay some 14 k € extra to get the same version (automatic clutch) with electronic suspension. Now that I have only 41 k miles on my present machine and it is in mint technical condition I decided to invest 1,2 k€ instead and upgrade the shock. Well, I've got another problem now, the front end suddenly feels somewhat lose. Looks like some more home improvement coming next year.
And then this small, but very useful improvement- less buzz to the feet.
Looking forward to my next fully loaded 2-up trip.
