Hey, there's quite a few HD converts on FJRs too, including me! I do still have my old bagger w/no plans to sell, but FJR ownership has opened a whole new experience.It's clear that they are targeting the HD bagger market...nothing more, nothing less. Smart move by them to try and pry into that market. I have met a number of former HD riders that now ride a Wing for touring...so this makes sense marketing wise.

I like this new GW personally. I never liked top cases. On my Ultra Classic HD it's a fairly easy thing to pull it off (I sold mine and the lowers yrs ago). On GoldWings that was never an option unless you were good at custom work or willing to pay a shop to do it.
Like you say, free country and all that; I think more options in the MC marketplace is a good thing!
