I assume your the same 'Petey' I met at WFO? Slight build, glasses? If so, you bought me a beer at the MexTex restaraunt at the Hillton the night before FjrJonesing went for the SS1k? With Rouge and some others? What the hell, if I ride all the way out there next year I have to buy a freakin' beer for SOMEONE! Volunteers?

can't. got a 5 day weekend starting tomorrow and will be using it for the last of the prep stuff for the october ride.

There are lots of motels in town... About 5 minute away. A few guy stayed in town on the last trip, and it worked out fine. Here is a link to more motels in town... I have stayed at the Dogwood motel, and it was clean and nice...

Hey all,
I'm trying to split up my ride down from Wheaton/Chicago area to AR into 2 days. I would like to stay near Hooterville/Bonne Terre, MO Thursday night and ride down (trailing Smitty) on Friday.

However, I'm looking for someone to share room/split room cost at the local Bonne Terre motel (Days Inn or Holiday Inn Express I think) for Thursday night. Is anyone else gonna be in the area that would be interested in this?

BTW, for those that don't know me, I have good references from other FJR Forum guys, so if I snore it must not be too loud. Petey and I are room splitting again in AR. Zzzip and I are room splitting at CFO.

I have Fridays and Saturdays routes laid out. I have them on my Garmin GPS. There was several guys wanting the files if I did it that way. I will also have hard copys with me for anyone that wants one. This is my first time to plot a route on my GPS so I hope it is right.

Anyone interested, send me a email to send 2 different files to.

Fridays route is approx. 250 miles to the Anglers lodge. There will be time to ride more once we are there.

Saturdays route is 330 miles, with time for more if thats not enough miles for you.

I am planning a twisty night ride across Hwy. 14 to Push Mt. road to Hwy 5. This is deer country :blink: , but I enjoy riding at night :yahoo: . It will be less than 2 hours long.

Just a little over 2 weeks, and we will be there... Smitty

I sharpen my front fender so it just cut them in two parts.....wipe the face shield and keep riding... :lol:
