My name is Smitty.. And I have a motorcycle proble
I thought I would start a new tread to find out who's going to make it to Hooterville. Please post here so I can get a head count. I have had several let me know they where coming. I would like to make up maps for everyone and see how much food for sat. evening BB-Q. I also will be off all day Friday, so the shop will be open for service. If you want to drop ship tires or change oil ect PM me for my address, and we will get it done.
Friday evening dinner at Chesters (KSFJR) favorite eatery. Catfish Kettle in Farmington Mo.
I have a route of 391 smiles maped out with fuel and places to eat/rest ect marked. If you don't want to do all the miles there will be plenty of places to turn and cut out some miles. I tryed to put most of the best roads around together for a great ride.
Please remember, most of theses road are out in the "sticks", and medical help can take a long time to get to you. So everyone please ride within there limits and dress for the crash with protective clothing. I will ride rain or shine... I always said riding in rain makes you a better, smoother rider... but I hope for sun and fun. There will be some fun twisty roads, and a the famous Hwy KK. This is a road in the middle of nowhere, and pushing the 150mph is possible :dribble: ... I think breaking up into a few smaller groups is a good idea. Letting the peg draggers leave first, and the guys that want to look and smell the flowers not feel the need to ride faster than they want to. It is your choice, and If you and a buddy or two want to do your own thing thats cool too.
The ride will start around 8am Saturday morning at the Super 8 motel. There is a place to eat right next door, be sure to tell the you are staying there for a food discount. Please ride safe, and let me know if there is anything I can help with. See you soon... Smitty :yahoo:
