IN! But as I stated before, I'll have to peel off for home before dinner (as usual, you guys are used to this!) to keep Momma happy. :(
P.S. Send me your GPS route file if you've got it. Thx!

Just got with Smitty on this Map and directions. There is a couple of minor errors on map and directions. Smitty will be correcting them so if you have printed out this you need to check back later and make sure you have updated info.

I guess since it shows driving time to be 25 hours and 34 minutes, we will be exceeding the speed limit somewhat to be home in time for the evening meal (known as dinner in N Missouri and supper in S Missouri)? :p

I've seen the way you ride, Skip. You'd better start now, otherwise you might not make it to Darrell's in time for beer and brats. :p

I think someone's map program must have been set for doing 29 in a 70 mph zone.

Lessee, 400 miles, kick stands up at 8. Hmmm... Yep, it'll be OH DARK THIRTY before we get back to Hooskerduville. ;)

Note that there are a couple errors on the posting by Smitty (and quoted by Mehaffy). I'm sure that Bronce will correct the errors in his post. Mike correctly pointed out that the map skipped road "E", and that Smitty's L&R turn by turn instructions were reversed south of Winona (just make the jog to stay on 19). As far as I know, the MapSource files that I already emailed to a few of you are correct. If you add the towns that I posted above into your GPS, that will help insure that you stay on the official route.

Installed a G2 today, so I will not only be slower, I will be smoother while slower. -_-

I did correct the turn error. I think I had my head turn, looking backwards then I was typing..  ... I will have route sheets and maps for everyone.. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone. The fridge is stocked with pepsi, diet pepsi, Mello Yellow, and Bud Light. If anyone wants something other than that let me know asap. Snacks will also be provided for everyone to enjoy.

Saturdays menu will be a simple meal.. Heres what is planned. Weather permitting.

Off the grill

BB-Q brats, and burgers, and a dog or two.

Chips

Potato salad

mac salad

pickles

cookies

soda and "BEER"!!!!

If the weather is not so perfect, we will change the plan and go out to eat.

See you soon, Smitty :yahoo:

Looks like I may not have to work Friday, so I may show up late morning. Didn't work all last week, and looks like they don't need me this coming week.... wonder if I have been fired, and nobody has bothered to tell me? He fired one guy last year and forgot to tell him, and when he showed up for work the boss decided to give him another chance. :D I noticed this guy worked instead of me... :glare:

Maybe I am unemployed again!! :yahoo:

Got some Iridium plugs I might bring along to have put in (even tho' I only have 6,000 miles on the bike), just to watch some professionals stand around and watch a real professional work. :derisive:

ok...

I have been holding out to see if i can make this. At this point, I should be there! :yahoo:

I will see the doctor this week and i will know for sure when i can go to work. :)

Great Adam, are you going to be able to ride?? Or in your truck.. Smitty

Ride, Of course! :yahoo:
Adam, glad to hear you are going to be there! Be great to see you.

For those of you (like Adam) that have two way radios, Smitty (and gang) have their Kenwoods tuned to channel one five and the quiet code is deuce deuce. For the rest of us with NORMAL radios, that translates to channel deuce deuce deuce deuce. Simple.

My handle be "Rocket" or some such nonsense. I even have a license for mine. You are all brothers and sisters. remember that my family members! So if you hear me speaking weird numbers occasionally on the radio, it's just a pause for station identification. Looking forward to putting my 5 watts to the test in the HOOTS and hollers.
