ETD is 1 EST and my ETA is 4 CST.
What the hell are you talking about? Are those some of those blue pill problems?

Should be leaving by 3:30 am so that I can hit St. Louis during rush hour. Great. May have to hide out somewhere west of St. Louis until that crap dies down.

No Chester, you're thinking about ED, not ETD or ETA. Senile?

Smitty, I have no idea what she was saying, but I like how she says it. There's definitely some hot chicks on those latin channels. I guess in Italy there's a weather girl that does the forecast topless. If that happened over here, we'd probably be a lot less concerned about content. Sorry I couldn't find a YouTube from Italy... but I looked! :man_in_love:

As is often the case, looks like the weather fell apart everywhere. Except of course along I-70, which is my route from TH to STL. Oh well, I won't melt. I just hope I get out of here and get south of the moisture before the boomers build up in the afternoon. Time to batten down the hatches (put the radar detector and Xm radio away) and get the rain suit ready. Then again, maybe I'll just get wet. It's only a few counties wide (right now, anyway). :Snorkle:

Well, I just rolled out of bed and took a peek outthe window... It's a toad strangler!

Nothing new to me though... We should rename the gathering to the "if Galaxyblue goes, it rains 400"

See ya soon smitty, I am only 50ish miles away!

OK, I'm in - at least for part of the ride.
See you in the morning.
All RIGHT! There's about 10 of us at the Super 8.... next to the Huddle House. Kickstands up at 8 AM!!!!!!!! See you there!

Well, I am headed to the car wash to get that funk off of there from yesterday!

Today's weather looks Alot better than yesterday's, fo sho!

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, sorry I had to peel away early without saying goodbye. I just wasn't feeling 100% and was having trouble concentrating. Made it home OK though.

Smitty, thanks for the ride. It was great seeing everyone again! :yahoo:

Nice to meet all of you. Had to peel off early for Mother's day dinner. Still got 375 miles for the day.

It was a beautiful day to be out riding. :yahoo:

Smitty: I want to congratulate you for setting up the ride and festivities this weekend. I had a great time, met some new folks and I think I am actually learning how to ride some of them twisties. Got home today about 4:00 pm after FJRocket, Wheaton and I played with traffic on I-57. And the darndest thing happened - I came back with more tread on my rear tire than when I left!! Thanks for saving my butt Smitty. I definitely felt a whole lot more comfortable with that rear tire. Hope to ride with you guys again in the near future.

Just got back home. A BIG thanks to Smitty for doing the incredible amount of work for this event. Best 400 miles back to back that I've ever ridden. Thanks. Good to see old riding buddies and meet new ones. Good to see SkooterG making the special celebrity appearance from out west. I also see that Galaxy Blue/Adam hasn't slowed down at all...truly amazing.

All the meal stops were fantastic - especially the big shindig at brother Darrell's place.

I'm sure zzzzip will be along shortly with pictures.

Hooterville 400...one of my favorite -don't miss- FJR events. :yahoo: :yahoo: :clapping: :clapping:

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are about 3 dozen photos, some with appropriate subtitles to explain the moment captured in time for future generations... if you don't like 'em take your own pictures. :p

I'd like to say Skinny Dave and I were staying so far ahead of the pack that I had time to stop and take photos, but truth is, I went back and rode some of the roads the next morning. If you want to know what the rest of the ride looked like, find a double yellow centerline, on a curve and/or a hill, and stare at it for about 6 hours-- you have seen the the rest of the story.

Good roads, good weather good riding partners.

I made it home about 2pm, But i had an extended detour back home! :)

Skooter G, KSFJR, and I left the motel about 9ish and headed out hwy 32. They split off on hwy 19 and i satayed on 32 the whole way to Buffalo... What a fantastic ride through the Mark Twain National Forest! There were not alot of technical stuff, But some great sweepers and near perfect roads with NO traffic! I was amazed about this... I didnt see anyone on the roads till i got in the next town. Maybe sunday church had something to do with it

It was most excellent seeing everyone again and i am looking foreward to the next Hooterville 400! :clapping:

Oh, Iggy, I got skooter broken in and ready for ya at tech west since he was my bitch for 2 nights!

Hey buddy, it was good to see you again. Keep in touch.

Thanks all for the nice comments. It was great having everyone over for a ride. As always anytime any of you guys want to come over for a ride let me know. Thanks for posting the pic's Adam and Skippy.

As we speak I am in negotiations with a third party to manufacture the parts to produce the FJR-trickcycle  . Just want to thank Adam. He was kind enough to be the test bike for this new and exciting product. Not to sure of the final cost, and the final Trick-cycle will have DOT fenders, lighting ect. I was hoping this "spy" photo would not get out until I was more prepared for the release in Aug./ Sept. 2007. Thanks everyone for attending the 2nd. Annual Hooterville 400. ;) Smitty ;)

You've answered my question. I would have liked to see other photo's of the trike. My wife thinks it might be to much bike so I thought of a trike right away. Let us know how it goes with the production. I'd be interested.
