Those old British petcocks almost always leak when they have been shut off for a long time and you then try to use them again.

They have cork seals that only, er, seal when they are wet with gasoline. In storage they dry out. Usually they work again after they have leaked for an hour or so :D

So I love Uncle Henry but it's been ridden all of 50 miles or less since I brought him home. Since then, the KTM and MV Agustas have more miles than Henry, though not by much as I've done about 1k total on all the bikes in the past 8 months. That's the thing I'm learning about having many bikes... they each don't get ridden much. Add a busy work and business schedule, and my shop is more museum than working garage these days.

.

So... it may be time to put Henry with a family that will spend time with him. Whatya think? Find him a new home or let him stay a while? No plans to add a new bike, as I just traded one MV for another, and I'm at 7 bikes before selling Henry. Of course, that new Thruxton R looks mighty nice... focus, Hudson, focus.

That's why I sold my Enfield interceptor. It got to the point that it was just shop art and taking up space. It lives in a private collection in Hollywierd now.
