So, forget that the correct answer, or link to the answer has been posted becuase I just have to give you my perspective.

Do what they said. I can even get er up there with the bike fully loaded! When I'm fully loaded, I never get er down! ;)

I love this thread...the Goldwing owners are over there laughing at us BTW. :D :D

I say we go kick their ass! :assassin:
Pipe down...aren't you supposed to be on the lamb?

My 2 cents...... If a girl can put a big ole Goldwing or FJR on a centerstand... any guy should be able to too! :p

That was always my point while working at the motorsicle shop many many years ago and making sure to put the bike up on the centerstand when 'delivering' the sikle to the customer.... :D

rogdeb.....do I detect a little stewie in that statement?
 Why, yes indeed.

The best character on that show.

call this thread now "truly trashed"

Naw.....that was sparky. Oh, I commend you on the wonderful choice of emoticon......I thought we were talking about jet engines or something.....I would never, I repeat, never connect the word "thrust" to reproductive activities......

Oops. I got confused...easy to do when a thread is being hijacked at the speed of light.

I do hope this center stand thing is going well for him while we enjoy his rapidly degrading thread.
I figure when he gets back and see's how much destruction we have caused the depression of dropping his brand new bike won't be so bad. :D

I'm back!!!! Thanks for all your help. I tried twice with the instructions given here and was able to do it both times. Thanks all!!!!
Third times a charm ;)

And we have to commend Spridal on his restraint, not mentioning what this group of rampaging lunatics has done to his thread.

Isn't it terrible? I haven't laughed so hard for days. :D

Something to add here. Make sure the bike is in neutral. If it isn't, the first couple inches of backward movement will be resisted making it far more difficult to get it on the centerstand. :)
