Why yes, I am a Smart ***
After my get off I sent my bike in for repair, Must have chosen the wrong shop (I'm starting to think).
It was a Progressive authorized repair center.
Remember I sent it back because no VIN on the new frame.
When I got it back today...
My new Delrin frame slider was cracked from the ENGINE mount side. No tip-over marks. I guess over torqued??
I look right at the neck and notice a screw is missing from the wiring harness holder
My "NEW" bar end weight is generic and does not look right (too much gap IMO) and its put on with a screw one side and the original allen head on the other.
Scratches that weren't there before (But the shop didn't do it <_< ) Musta been that tow guy.
still smell coolant even though they say they could not find a leak.
OH THIS WAS A GOOD ONE (at least I was only a few miles from home when this happened)
The new grips started sliping around the throttle tube and I lost ALL throttle control on the interstate exit ramp. (THAT WAS FUN) I managed to squeeze it tight enough to get home.
My oil light is now staying on and oil level is fine. Could be a faulty sensor, but......
And those are just the glaring obvious things
My faith in my bike is slipping at the moment
Guess I still ain't riding........
