Nice, I missed it due to working on my bike, glad you took pictures. It was a good day for the PNW crew for valve checks and cam chain tensioner replacement.
This photo shows the two tools (the top two) needed, as well as the four items that were replaced. I received them from MDisher.Cool. Wish I could have been there. I would love to learn how to do this repair myself. Any special tools needed?
Were you able to determine which seal or O-ring was faulty?
Those tools are very, very nice! They made the job pretty easy to do. Once we had finished, we were all pretty surprised with how simple it was to just change the seal and o-ring.Thanks. I may have to try this next time myself with Gearman's tools.
Yeah, that driveshaft was in there pretty good. All it needed was a some persuasion.That is once you figured out you needed a big hammer and a 2 x 4.
