If there was one album, to make everyone here listen to, what would it be?

I don't think I could pick one artist (let alone one album); let's just say I'm glad I don't have to. Some artists not mentioned (but worthy IMO, and I'm still missing a bunch): Aerosmith, Boston, Chicago, etc....................

My Fav Single songs ever?

The one I want played at my funeral- Be Free by Kenny Loggins

The one that always puts me in a special place- I've Seen All Good People by Yes.

I saw Stevie Nicks live about 3 years ago. She's still got the pipes, but she's not the same woman in the pic anymore.
i was thinking the same thing. not quite the same pipes either but not bad for an old woman.

Thanks Bounce, my new screensaver! If Stevie would lift that damn restraining order, I'd ride my FJR up to Paradise Valley to visit her today! JSNS!

+1, Gunny; I still would do Stevie Nicks twice and take her to brunch, she lives just north of me in Paradise Valley, AZ! Hubba, hubba and hubba!

I'm a huge Mac and Stevie fan.

So many great suggestions. Al Dimeola's "Elegant Gypsy" would be very high on my list.
It's "Rumours"... sorry, pet peeve.

Mine would have to be Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" - the first entire album I fell in love with.

Artist would be Blue October... or John Hiatt... or Stevie Ray Vaughn... or The Alan Parsons Project...

New Riders of the Purple Sage
Went to a ZZ Top show, Purple Sage open and, I thought, they were a lot better than ZZ Top at that time.
Look at the member line up and see if you recognize any names... and if those names may explain why you thought that.

Michael Falzarano, Ronnie Penque, Johnny Markowski, Jerry Garcia, David Nelson, Buddy Cage, John Dawson, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, Dave Torbert, Spencer Dryden, Skip Battin, Stephen A. Love, Val Fuentes, Michael White

Pink Floyd-Dark Side of The Moon.... but, for real, there are so, so many others. I'm really partial to Led Zep-Houses of the Holy.

No question in my mind . . . multi-textured, multi-layered, twenty-five YEARS on the top-25 best-sellers list, while lots of other artists (and music) came and went. The music industry had to figure out some way to arbitrarily take it off that list. Headphones recommended, comfortably loud. If you don't like rock, this one is like eating olives; one listen may not do it for you, but after a few, you'll understand the appeal. Pure genius.

"Dark Side of the Moon." by Pink Floyd.

Journey wasn't mentioned because there's no such thing as a "soft rock" in nature. ;)

Ding... Ding... Ding... This right here is the winner, Ladies and Gentleman. I'll leave it at that. :)
Anybody that doesn't like Journey needs to have their head examined. Besides...Nature does have soft rocks and floating rocks. You guys don't know nuttin.
I'm actually disappointed in Majik...Steve Perry playing in the background is a highly rated ploy to bed beautiful women...Wait till Don hears you don't abide by this. Sheesh!!

Journey was mentioned...

Very good HRZ - Gerry Rafferty "City to City" was a great album!

No mention of Matchbox 20 ?

Counting Crows ?

Billy Idol ?

Supertramp ?

Chris Deburgh ?

And for all you Journey haters...

Consider listening to "Still they Ride" and tell me that doesn't speak volumes for us who are getting a "Little" up there in years.

Holy Hell, I forgot about Matchbox20. Used to love their stuff. Billy Idol and Sting are two more.

I used to listen to a lot of MANA on college. I kind of forgot about about them until just now. I forgot about Steve Winwood and Stevie Wonder. What about Lionel Richie??

AND .... If you cross over into Spanish-
MANA just plain ROCKS ! They have one of the best drummers that I have seen... NP with RUSH

Being the best.
