I guess that we should thank the Lord for small favors, eh? I'm still pulling for Tom in a big way. Please let us know when Vonda gives birth,

Heidi

Am being told that Tom's wife, has gone to the hospital with contractions. SHe has been there for awhile now, and I think they are talking about sending her home, but one never knows. I will keep you all posted.

I'd like to ride down to visit Tom in the spring (I'll have a bike and a good shoulder by then). It would be nice if someone from southern Indiana put together a ride to eat/meet down by that away around then.

Latest news is that Vonda has been given epidural(sp) and they are looking for some serious baby action around 2AM. Thats about 2 1/2 hours from now. Will keep you posted.

Baby Girl, Mariah Leeann Heverly, 7lbs 3oz. After a long labor and an eventual C-Section. baby doing well, mom having some issues, and back in surgery around 8:30AM. Will keep you all posted.

Holy cow! Huge Congrats on the new litle one. I hope that any complications w/ Vonda can be taken care of easily.

Tom's wife, Vonda, and baby Mariah are both now doing well, and resting comfortably. Thanks for all your thoughts. Will update more when there is more to update.

It's been a long while since last update, so i thought I would fill some of you in.

After Tom's long hospital stay, and 4 months in rehab facility (nursing home) Tom was discharged to home. Tom still has no movement of his right side, and extremely limited speech. No short term memory, but he is home.

Therapy is coming to the house several times a week, and everyone is doing all they can for Tom, but he still has a super long road ahead of him.

Tom's wife, Vonda, and his daughter, Mariah, all all doing very well. I just returned from a 10 day stay at Tom's helping out and can say that Tom has improved, but still far from doing well.

thanks for all your support.

Give Tom my best and please let him know that I think of him and his family often. We appreciate the updates. Keep pressing on Tom and know that everyone is rooting for you.
