I shopped around and ended up with Kingsway. I hadn't had bike insurance for some years so I was high risk for my SV650. It cost me about $1200.00 per year for the first couple of years but has now dropped to around $875.00. I am considered 3 star (best rating you can get) and my FJR costs me $1250.00 per year now. That's $2125.00 per year for two bikes with a perfect record. OUCH. And don't forget, the Canadian dollar is on par with the US buck. The only other company I could find that was less was State Farm but you have to switch you car insurance over to them (which is probably where they make up the diff).
Bit of a side note; I did have to make a claim on my SV650 policy. Got cut off and totaled my "03 SV. Since I didn't hit the minivan who cut me off I was considered at fault! My premiums were on their way up, but the agent handling the claim argued in my favor and they changed their minds. So, even though I'm paying large, I have good things to say about Kingsway.
Just my 2 cents.
