Is it time yet ? Dang,....................... Cant wait !!!!!

I want to start this tread " FOR FUN " for EVERYONE to chime and and tell US what you are going to do at EOM that is going to be note worthy and 'entertaining', other than rideing in hills...... he-he-he-he

Ca'mon everyone chime in that is going to EOM / NAFO this year...................... Looking forward to it, again !!!!

I'm going to bring some "special party favors"...... and this is not illegal party favors...

Tenn. and WV. were great, but need some new scenery.

Don't know if Jeanne can do another 10 hour ride.

I'm sure planning the rest of my year around EOM, everything else is going to take a backseat- including my pillion who caused me to miss out on EOM last year! Looking forward to riding with everyone again and meetin some new folks as well. Will be travelling two up this year, just to show her what she missed in '08!

Jax- just be careful about what you bring this year, and make sure you bring an MSDS on it. . . . you know, the kind with warnings that say "Not to be taken internally" and "In case of contact, flush with water and vinegar"! I think JWilly still has your box left from '08's banquet dinner!

I think this year I'll find a water crossing, sit in a lawn chair nearby with a camera and drink all day long. Then Wayne and I can ride at night. Somebody can trailer me home so sleep can be optional.

I know patience is a virtue, but when vacation requests are due by Feb 15th for the damned year, it sure does make it tough! Any glimpse of an idea on a timeframe yet, Heidi? Not worried about place, I'll be there, I just need to know when?! (No pressure !)

Oh, and Lewisburg is A-ok with me !

I just had it called to my attention that there has been recent discussion going on here about this. Nothing has been announced because it hasn't been planned. Several venues have been looked into but no decisions have been made, yet. Last NAFO wasn't announced until January for an event that happened in June (or July) if memory serves.

This year's NAFO will not take place the same month as previously. I typed somewhere else that it will be safe to assume that NAFO 2010 will be planned in September... likely the same weekend that EOM has happened or very close thereabouts... EOM has taken place the last several years the 3rd weekend of September.

I am not going to swear that will be the weekend, yet... but this is the best that we can do at this time & the weekend we will be shooting for if other planning team members have no objections.

Most apologetic that it isn't nailed down better than this... but it is what is is & it will come about soon enough. Please be patient,

& immediately after I posted that I had it called to my attention that there was a meet already planned for the 3rd weekend of September. Also, the venues that we've been looking at had local football going on nearby that usually have the hotels nearby booked that particular weekend (3rd in September). Jay & I are looking at the last weekend of that month for NAFO purposes. September 24, 25 & 26.
