Anyone that wants to join me on my 7th of June ride is welcome...I'm going to end up at the Grand Canyon via Dalhart, Gunnison, Moab, St. George, and Prescott. The ride back will be a little shorter with small stops in Winslow and Santa Fe. :D

Oh yeah, it might take a little longer than a day...

Staying in this h*ll-hole part of the country or moving to somewhere pretty with mountains?

edit: ok, i better address this since i'm gettin mail on it, I will still be SFO Rallymistress! i love it and as of now, I see no reason not to continue doing it for ya guys. next year's dates are already booked and plans are being made. i'll know more after NAFO next month and can do an update in the SFO section then. very sorry for the hijack, it wasn't intentional.

It's not a hijack. I actually posted this with the hope that we'd get you out with us one more time.

awww! that's nice marcos! sorry i can't make this one but there's lots of time left. the house isn't sold yet!

Sandy Ego huh? Friends I work with rode out there a few years ago. From the pictures I saw and the stories I heard it's a beeee-uuuutiful part of the coutry. Just don't let the rest of them there Californians affect your midwestern girl sensibilities. :)

Congrats on the move - you'll have to let us know when you're leaving so we can have a going away ride.

well if the ride idea falls apart, and please don't let me stop y'all, you guys can come hang out at this and watch/learn/help while we work on my bike or get some work done on yours. We're gonna work on the steering head bearings and change out my grips. Anyone is welcome and the location is in Burleson. I can forward the map if anyone wants to come. They prolly have enough food but you may wanna post up and say your coming over on TWT.

just a thought. i'll be there by 10 at the latest, prolly closer to 9 am.

I'm heading over to the Best BBQ in the state of Texas, according to this month's issue of Texas Monthly:

Snow's - Lexington

Only open on Saturdays, and only until the meat runs out, so we're getting there around 10. If you're in the Austin area, lemme know.

I was already planning on making it out there, if my schedule allows. I will look for you, I may be on my yellow DRZ.

Yeah, like that argument works...the last time I tried the "he started it" defense my mom punished both my brother and me. :) Of course the differnce may be that my brother and I actually deserved it. :glare:

Missed you on Saturday jmdaniel. I got to Snow's around 930 and they were out of just about everything. Guess everyone read the same article. I saw your 07 and waited for a bit, but got an unexpected phone call and had to book home to Austin. Maybe next time.
