Oooooh Boy!!!! :dribble:

I just checked the weather for Thurseday and it isn't looking to good. T-STORMS and RAIN ALL DAY!!!!

We did over a 100 miles in heavy down poors and thunder storms heading back home from the NH Green mountain ride last year. I am glad i have new rubber on the bike. The SO won't be to happy and it looks like i may have to change the route i planned and super slab it. :(

Yep - I've been following it from my end - 60% chance of morning thunderstorms and looks like I'll be heading into. I'm still taking the long way down scenic Route 20. Can't decide which jacket to wear though - my leather, or my textile mesh with the liner . . . . . . either way I'll be packing the rain gear.

I hear ya. I'm leaving here Friday AM and meeting everyone @ Sweet Sues @ 9:00. Looks like I'll be wearing the rain gear over the mesh when I leave, because it's to hard to put the rain gear on after your wet.

Oh yeah, I thought I'd mention.........bring cash for Sweet Sue's. I always forget that they do not accept credit cards.

There is a ATM machine a few doors down, but if you're like me, I hate paying an extra fee to withdraw money that's already mine.

I turned a bucket of change in today for this venture and they charged me 5% at my own bank.

Guess I will have to go back to rollin the coins back up again.

This is just a reminder:

7:30am Circle Diner is the departure time for Friday's ride. We will be eating breakfast at Sweet Sue's around 9:00am. We will leave Sweet Sue's after breakfast.

8:30am Circle Diner is the departure time for Saturday's ride. If you want breakfast Saturday....you're on you're own but be ready to leave the diner by 8:30am.

Just made my reservations at the Travelodge in Latham. I apparently *really* need to go on this ride! :)
OK...I just want to make sure (because I'm directionally challenged)....

The Circle Diner is at 813 New Loudon Rd in Latham, NY, right? And that's outside Albany....

Sweet Sue's Restaurant is at 49 Main St in Phoenicia, NY and that's in the Catskills....

So, the plan is to meet at the Diner on Friday first and then another meetup at Sweet Sue's I'll be at the Sweet Sue's meetup).....OK...I got that....and then we ride around and head back to Latham, right?

Sorry for the seemingly dumb questions but I'm trying to plan a route to these places there and back.

BTW, anyone in the CT general area want to meet and ride up to Sweet Sue's together? More specifically, I'm in Danbury, CT and plan on leaving here around 6am to get to Sweet Sue's.

Sounds like your addresses are correct.....or close enough anyway. And yes, to all of your interpretations. :clapping:

Hello All,

We are leaving lathem in 10 min's. Heading home through Vermont on the trek back. We will check in later. Had a great time and definately improved my driving skills this weekend.

Later!! :)

Checking in , made it home 1.5 hours less than the trip up (weather and the rigorous training the previous two days). 1,662 miles, door to door.
