Tomorrow I'm aiming for Gainesville FL , maybe a little further depending upon variables..... The new tires are certainly helping with the speed!

The miles have "Gotten Easier" because:

You are getting use to the routine

You are getting BETTER

You have become ONE with the bike

You can visualize your goal…

For me the 2nd day of a long ride is the most difficult. When you finish your ride, don't be surprised if you feel aimless for a bit.

After my first long ride (48++), It was strange not "Pushing on" after I had reached Hyder. You will have great memories from your

ride to last a long time.

You've imagined… you've planned… and now you have almost conquered a fantastic ride/adventure- and now comes the best part…

You will recall moments that were challenging, fun, exhausting and miserable- they will ALL be enjoyed in the future with a grin and a shaking of the head.

My last gas stop for the day:

I see a new BP sign... GREAT i like BP. i pull up and the pumps are adequate... i get the receipt and no address!! crappers! I go inside and as soon as i open the door i smell hemp. There are things i cannot describe including alligator heads on shelves... i proceed to the back to get some water which turned out to be berry water.. then go to the register...no address on dupe receipt either. I ask for card... no cards... he just bought the place 4 months ago...so i end up with an inadequate receipt, berry crap water and the vision of alligator heads dancing through mine.... as i leave there is a cop in the parking lot.... GO INSIDE!!!!lol

the party in my head has already commenced!!!!

Allen- I almost couldn't get time off because I was "Sick" for our ride down to Key West, and I was "Sick" to put a new starter in the '05 in June.

I was told "No More Sick" (3 strikes in 6 months is a no no) So I got a day of vacation!
