Kudo's to Warchild on the ticking Saga

Just read thru the various threads regarding Warchilds diagnostic effort. Great info; wanted to express appreciation for all his effort in sharing it.

At the risk of getting torched for asking (I did search search 1st): In the thread it seemed to indicate that the tick problem was limited to '03's and '04's. Is this known to be true or has the problem surfaced on '05's or later.

It's likely fewer '05s (last year of Gen 1) had it, but some did.

No '06 or later (Gen 2) has been a confirmed ticker.

WC set the bar and others followed, i.e. Ionbeams camchain woes, and we all benefit from these shared misfortunes. MammaYamma reads these forums too I believe and to my knowledge all tickers were fixed on her dime...I could be wrong...like that would be a first :blink: !

And Stephen, motorcycles can be male, female or androgenous..like odot ....Radman and I both have male FJR's, I've owned female Yamahas and male Hodakas and lots of in-betweens....the box o chocolates analogy comes to mind, ya never know 'till ya ride em!

Now at 63k miles it KICKS ***!!
