I'm a retired LEO and have asked and received more than my share of help on this forum.
That's cause you're *retired*. It's the active duty guys that get all the *****. Everyone knows *they* are the real dinks...

This is being sent privately, right? I couldn't figure out which button to push...

Now who wooda thought a Forum populated by a bunchaoldguys riding motocycles would be filled with sarcasm and jerkiness?
Who you calling old guy Wheatie?
No kidding! Not all of us are old dried up AARP members, ya know!

I have nothing of any value to add here, but I have to say that I'm sitting at work laughing my *** off at this thread! There's some seriously funny sh*t here. I kinda hope he comes back to read this whole thing 'cause maybe it would lighten him up a little (if only for a while).

Ok, folks, move along. Nothing to see here.

********, ********, ********!!
I just looked at all 176 of your posts and all of your topics. You didn't ask for help one time. Not once. You spent most your time welcoming new folks (nothing wrong with that) or bitching about dealerships. The other popular theme in your posts was telling everyone what the weather was like in your part of Texas. Oh, and let's not forget the one where you accused everyone from California of hating Texas. Yeah, I'm sure that's the case. Your posts didn't exactly seem riveting to me, but to each his own. To come here in this thread bitching about how nobody would help you or respond to your questions is total horse ****. Take your trolling, whining, self centered, cry-baby attitude to some other forum and maybe you'll get the hand holding and coddling that you seem to require.

And out of 176 posts I only found three times that you mentioned that you were a cop. One of those was the last post you made (the beginning post in this thread). None of the replies to posts where you mentioned being a cop had anything bad to say about your profession. Lighten up.

Good bye, and good riddance.
Gun, you have got to stop holding back and tells us how you feel!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

I'm a LEO (zodiac sign and profession) I feel nothing but love here in this forum....

Ya know............just because I like to be disagreeable, it being my nature and all...............

I think since it not being Friday yet, we are a bit pre-mature on the dogpile.

I didn't go back and read all his posts, but I read a lot of them and the dude seemed pretty reasonable, friendly, and normal to me. In other words, from what I can see, the post which started this thread seemed quite a bit out of character for LAGO RUNNER. Now, why could that be?

So perhaps the guy's simply having a bad day/week/month. Maybe his wife just asked him for a divorce. Maybe he just lost a child, or a co-worker. Maybe it's just the stress of the job. And so, bad judgement, or alcohol perhaps, got the better of him in a weak moment which manifested itself here and he went off the handle. I mean, gee, that's never happened around here before. Never by me, nor any of the other mods, nor by any you.

Maybe, just maybe, we should be giving the guy a bit of a chance, asking him what's wrong and showing just a little bit of empathy before we 'burn the witch'. If the dude is a true ******, that would be apparent soon enough and then of course, dogpile on. But a pretty mean-spirted dogpile was initiated pretty quickly.

Perhapsv the dude is hurting for some reason and he could use a bit of compassion instead of what we have given him. Granted, if he is hurting he didn't ask for help in a very productive way, but when you are down and out, things seldom go right and more often than not, one is one's own worst enemy. Personally, I hope the guy's not so damned depressed that he's close to being suicidal, because we sure as hell didn't take him any further from that edge.

Just some ramblings to consider. I'll be back to being an ******* tomorrow.

I hear ya Skooter...I'm just not as good as you at reading between the lines.

If someone posts something...I react to that and don't usually go back like Gunny did and investigate every post. If he has a problem...hopefully some of his "brethren" that he works with will notice.

I ain't no ether divining, palm reading, tea leaf sniffing, ghost whispering mind reader.

PWI... Happens to me all the time...

Hey, I offered to help.....
there's a very cool FREE program that you can use to remote out to folks PCs and help

walk your peeps through going to: https://teamviewer.com

and then have them click START CUSTOMER MODULE and give you the userid/password it assigns

you fire up teamviewer and put that info in.. BAM! You are on their PC driving and can show them HOW to do whatever it is they need to do. Works very well with Windoze and Mac operating systems (probably Linux too but I haven't tested it)

To the good Mr. GunMD: it is my duty as Benevolent Dictator to to point out to you just how WRONG this post of yours was!!!!!!

Used in this context, "horsecock" is one word. It is not hyphenated or separated.

:D

Truthfully, anyone who can spark a hilarious thread like this.... they oughta be cut some slack.

Mr Diva - "Drama Queen of the Week", according to the Administrator of Drama - has his account fully restored. Assuming all you mean people didn't run him off ;) he can post again if he wants......

And the pusification of our society continues. Damn, I had no idea it had reached the desert southwest.

Whoa! You got me. I started reading this and was thinking for just a split second that you were on Skooter's team on this one. Pheewww. Glad you haven't bumped that dome of yours as often as the other resident squid has.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_personality_disorder

Borderline personality disorder (BPD), DSM-IV Personality Disorders 301.83,[1] is a psychiatric diagnosis, a diagnostic category in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (published by the American Psychiatric Association) that describes a long-term disturbance of personality function characterized by depth and variability of moods.[2] It is one of four related diagnoses classified as cluster B ("dramatic-erratic") personality disorders typified by disturbances in impulse control and emotional dysregulation, the others being narcissistic, histrionic, and antisocial personality disorders.
Disturbances suffered by those with borderline personality disorder are wide-ranging. The general profile of the disorder typically includes a pervasive instability in mood; extreme "black and white" thinking, or "splitting"; chaotic and unstable interpersonal relationships, self-image, identity, and behavior; as well as a disturbance in the individual's sense of self. In extreme cases, this disturbance in the sense of self can lead to periods of dissociation.[3] These disturbances have a pervasive negative impact on many or all of the psychosocial facets of life. This includes the inability to maintain relationships in work, home, and social settings. Common comorbid conditions are Axis I disorders such as substance abuse, depression and other mood disorders. Attempted suicide and completed suicide are possible outcomes without proper care and effective therapy.[4] Onset of symptoms typically occurs during adolescence or young adulthood, which persist for about a decade; while this period can be trying on the patient, their support system and their therapists, the majority of cases lessen in severity over time.[4]

This police officer should seek professional psychiatric help right away. This is not ment as a joke. He is clearly exhibiting signs of disorder.
