Let's Talk About Summer Gloves

I have a pair of the ICON Tarmac 2 in Blue and Yellow. I had the yellow pair on when I totaled my Burgman and they held up VERY WELL. I was pleased....

I've got the Tarmac 2 and I'm not a big fan. There's a lot -- I mean a LOT -- of stitching on the palms. I'm in the group that finds palm stitching annoying. The Tarmac 3's look like they fixed that, so I may go that route next time.

Thanks for the note on crash testing, though. That's good to know.

I picked up a pair of the Tourmaster Deerskin gloves this summer and liked them a lot. They've got me thinking more seriously about the Lee Parks shorties. I was holding Lee Parks' gloves (I mean, actual Lee Parks gloves -- that is, the pair that Lee Parks wears) earlier this summer and the deerskin on those was much softer than the Tourmaster deerskin. Those things must feel very nice...
