I'll buy you a beer at SWFOG, unless I see you before then in Colorado with our AZ Beemers Club.
Either way, bring your wallet. B) And let me know what your plans are if you're headed this way. Are you considering the ST.net gathering or what?

Wish I could be up in God's country celebrating it with you!In the 'Rockies'! ;)
Pack the bike, pack the pack and fly rod, or pack the skis and head this way anytime. I still owe you (and Jane) and am willing to pay up.

(ok, the skiing's not real good right now, unless you like hiking up ;) )

Hope ta meet ya someday...
Kinda' sounding like that's gonna' happen real soon. I'm looking forward to it. You boys be careful on the drive.

The military taught me never to volunteer for anything.

However, since I owe the both of you. I insist on getting the majority of them.

Hello Pinhead, My BMW Club, AZ Beemers, will be up in Colorado for six days in either August or September, either the weekend before Labor Day or the weekend after. My long, long time BMW riding buddy Uri Schumm and I have really concentrated on bagging the world's high passes for a number of years now. In May of 2007 we went to the Alps together bagging passes, in February 2006 we went to Andalucia, Spain bagging passes and in September of 2005 we flew into Baltimore, Maryland and rented H-D's to spend a week bagging high passes in the Appalachian and Allegheny Mountains.

We both own "The Rocky Mountains" by Toby Ballentine from https://WhitehorseGear.com and we are trying to ride all of the passes listed in this book. We are both old geezers: Uri is 64 and I am turning 61, so there is some urgency to our list. Ha!

Uri and I'll have this Colorado Ride posted to https://www.azbeemers.org/forum and here before my leaving for CFR on 6/14.

As of now we're looking at Cortez for Thursday night and Silverton for Friday night; with Lake City for Sunday night and Chama, New Mexico for Monday night. If we were to stay Saturday in Gunnison, what are your lodging recommendations?

You'll enjoy meeting Uri and Sylvia Schumm, great people. Uri's a good friend of SkooterG, but don't hold that against him!!
