I'll withhold judgement until I have a taste. The stuff currently on the shelf is the old mix. Right? Their PR seems to be working if demand is up. Guess I can switch to mainly Knob Creek for my bourbon. Meanwhile I always have my Patron.
You should see a change in the proof when the watered down stuff shows up on the shelf.

The stuff that is on the shelf NOW is watered down. Unless it is served barrel proof all bourbons are diluted with water to obtain the desired % ABV. Jeesh! I just got an email yesterday from Bill Samuals Jr. (father of Rob Samuels COO of Makers) that he cannot detect any change in taste.

Bob, you're right... BUT it is normally watered down to a STANDARD dilution and alcohol percentage that they are now violating. Where does the madness end?!?! I can see it now... 20 years from now it will be 2% alcohol by volume "but you can't detect any change in taste" cause they boiled the frog in the pot!!!

The only standard for %ABV is Kentucky law. It requires that it be 40% ABV or above in order to be called Kentucky bourbon. There are many other laws that determine how it is made also. Like the amount of corn required in the recipe.

There was a 15 year period where I inspected Air Jamaica's fleet in Kingston. I was there twice sometimes three times a week. **** Soup is wonderful and Yes! It goes very well with Bourbon. :)

Said the chicken farmer as his donkey ran away:

"Here, hold my **** and pullet while I grab my ***".
