Maupin Romp: PNWFOG Fall Get-Together

I am new to the PNW and am joining this get together. See everyone Saturday- +1 for dinner. Anyone suggest a good route down from Seattle?
BTW, if anyone would want to split a room. I have a reservation with two beds gound floor at the Imperial Hotel. $150/2=$75. PM if interested.

We are leaving Saturday morning about 7:30 from Auburn. You are welcome to join up. We are planning to go the SR 410. 123 12 to NF 25/90 to Trout Lake and over to Goldendale then south to Maupin. If the weather is lousy, then we will go east and down through I-84 to US 97 and south.

As stated on the route suggestion thread.. If no one takes me up on riding early Saturday out of Maupin, I will be riding around Klickitat County and some old stomping grounds.

Here is my favorite route... leaving Goldendale toward Glenwood to BZ Corner (for breakfast at The Logs) to Trout Lake to Glenwood toward Goldendale to Klickitat to Lyle to Dallesport.

Hate to do this, but I've got to bail on this weekend. I've started back to college (been a LONG time since I've had a class) and my teacher just moved up the due date for a 500-word essay to next Monday night. I'll be working all weekend on it. Y'all have fun now.

If somebody is in need of a room reservation PM me before the end of the day and I'll move mine to you. Otherwise I'll be canceling it.

Heading South out of Yakima early Sat. To Goldendale (probably via Bickleton), then to Lyle via either Klicketat or Centerville. Perhaps some other wandering around Klicketat county before heading to Maupin on 197.

I've slept through a 130dB fire alarm and lived directly under a flight path roughly 10 mi from the airport. Pretty sure I'm able to sleep through someone's snoring... if not... I'm sure I'll have a pillow to stop the snoring :devil:
