Good luck SPU,

Its kind of the business I deal with everyday. If you have a good doc your all set. I agree the hardware is worth a pretty penny. Chances are

you could buy a new bike for less money. The doc's fee may be the cheapest part of it. Anyway its all about getting well again and hopefully riding

soon. Heal quick buddy!

Prayers heading your way,

Dave

Good vibes sent! I have a good friend who late last year needed emergency back surgery on a herniated disk. He's still having a little bit of trouble walking, and they don't know whether he'll ever be 100% due to nerve compression, but he's glad to not be paralyzed, which could have happened.

Anyway, I hope our friend Michael comes through and has a speedy recovery.

E mail from last night : surgery went ok. took 4.5 hours instead of 3 hours... said I had more damage than they thought. also said I have huge bones. o2 sats were low after surgery so I went to hospital overnight. drive home was mucho pain, and took me 10 hours to get under control. doing as good as I expected.

So that must mean he's alive
