Here's Buddy:

Again with our enormous cat we affectionately call 'Diabetus', as she's recently been diagnosed with Feline Diabetes. She gets an insulin shot twice a day. And seems to like it. Cats: anything for attention.

This is "Bob", while not technically a pet he does hang out in our backyard

from time to time...he looks like he's about 30-40 lbs. (Nice Kitty...)

Very cute pup John. That is the best X-Mas present.

The more you do with him the smarter he will get.

Love him like there's no tomorrow, cause they aren't with us long enough.

Merry Christmas to you & Julie & Moby

That Bobcat must have been someones pet at sometime, I've never heard of one getting that tame naturally. Do you live in a rural area?

Our foster basset Barkley has been adopted by a couple living in uptown Nawlins' :yahoo:

he's moved in with his new girlfriend Claire, a Walker hound dawg also adopted from the Looziana Basset Rescue.

Claire came to our home to meet Barkley and introduce herself and stars came to his eyes

There is a problem as they are kinda getting along too well LOL

My wife and I picked up a (second) dog on the 22nd. This is Charlie:

And this is our 'first' dog, Macie:

It took us a lot of looking and meeting quite a few dogs until we found one we felt was 'compatible' with Macie, but now that we've had him for a whole week, I'm thinking we made the right choice. The level of cuteness is, at times, unbearable. And for a 7 month old, Charlie is constantly surprising me with his behavior and intelligence.

Black labs and all retrievers are on my short list for wonderful pets.

This is Reggie - named by her first family who's college was the Rajun Cajuns and they called her Rajun.

She's 14.5 now (she's been here 12 years) and has slowed down physically and eye sight and hearing but still catches food and defends herself from the other two younsters (basset Jenni and Walker coon dawg Walker) in the house.

She's quite old for a lab and has lotsa gray hairs which used to be black. We got Jenni when we thought Reggie was in her last year, but the other dawgs have caused her to be much more active and I believe that has lengthened her life and quality thereof.

She's the "queen" of the house fa sur...

Gus was our foster before Buford and now is living in a permanent home in New Hampshire. We bonded deeply and he would follow me around and want to stay in the same room with me most of the time.

I miss my Gussy Bear very much and will never forget him.

Walker the cat...

Walker is a "walker treeing coon hound dawg" who was found wandering Walker, Looziana after Hurricane Rita.

We adopted him from the Looziana Basset Rescue.

He really does think he's a lifelong puppy and has no mean bone in his body.

Walker hounds are bred to hunt small game and chase them up a tree.

If the tree has "steps branches" going up the trunk, he can climb the tree.

No chain link fence will hold him in/out if he wants to climb over it.
