What a blast for those kids. Makes me wish I was 10-12 again.

makes me wish I waited until i was older and more financially secure before I had my kids. My kids went through the hard times of having young parents with the wherewithal of an enlisted man's salary (better than some other kids though!!!)

We certainly couldn't afford that kind of hobby when they were kids...oh well. I love em though

Yes there are but I can't find the site right now.... they mostly run on Kart tracks and most are around the East and West Coast as far as I can tell

After reading this post, I rode out to Willow Springs Raceway this past weekend to watch these 50-125cc bikes, together with the motards (up to 450cc). Great entry level racing and apparently fairly affordable. The surprise was a number of grey beards racing these little bikes, that can get up to 100mph+ on the straights.
