:cray: I just found out my dad passed away. he was just short of his 81st birthday. He rode a gold wing with a side car that was his pride and joy.

It looks like it may have been a heart attack yhat did him in. He had a tripple by-pass many years ago. He lived in quincy ILL and was in the Navy reparing landing craft. Switched to the Air Force for Korea, Had two tours in Vietnam. Retired after 27 years in the air force. Just to many wars for one life time. I will miss him a great deal.

SO guys and you know how you are if you are not feeling well GET TO THE DOCTOR A.S.A.P.

Sorry to hear of your loss Chief. Lost my Dad about 18 months ago from cancer. We found out 8 months before he died that it was terminal. You have my sincere condolances. Be proud of your Dad for his achievements in life, and cherish your memories, but also be happy he didn't linger through an extended illness. Quick is sometimes a good thing.

Sorry for your loss Bud, keep his memory and his acomplishments forever. Sounds like a great guy.

My condolences to you and your family.

You said your dad had a triple bypass many years ago, was just curious how many years, Since i just had a quintuple bypass (5x) Feb 22.

I hope i live to his age,

Adam

My prayer & deepest hearfelt sympathies & condolences on your loss.

Cheif, ditto here on the heartfelt loss of your father. Lost my dad in 1989 from heart issues also and he is never forgotten. Your dad is gone for now but his memory lives on through you and what a great soldier. Prayers and blessings to you and your family. PM. <><

His by-pass was done some twenty years ago. That care of yourself and follow the doctors requirments and you shound have many years ahead of you.

Chief, your dad sounds like an awesome guy, you are lucky to have him as your father. I'm guessing that it was he who gave you the bug for 2 wheels as well? I'm sorry for your loss. :(

Chief, we're thinking about you. It sounds like you had a great relationship with your dad so the memories will all be pleasant.
