Not a fold-up or cheap, but if U gotta do it.Later,
Well, the Kendall is a fold-up, but it ain't cheap!
I bought mine at the Bergen Harley-Davidson dealership here in NJ. I hadn't been in an H-D dealer since they were truly weird at the Durham, NC one 25 years ago--pre-independence of AMF. So I was surprised and relieved that the guys in Bergen were friendly and helpful--just what you'd expect at ANY business that deals with the public. The only differences were that a full 1/3 of the floor was devoted to H-D logo accessories--wannabe crap, and there were two security guys at the front door.
Were I to lose my mind and decided to buy an H-D dinosaur, I'd go there. If I went slightly mand and decided I just HAD to have a Street Rod, I'd go there. If I want American esoteric, like 70's Italian, I'd go there for a Buell.
Now, my local YamaHondaKtm dealer is a Kendall dealer too, but they weren't then.
I've been EXTREMELY happy with the Kendall. I've hauled two bikes over the Dragon each way, after 800 miles of travel from NJ, and just the FJR with no problems.
And it folds up out of the way, with rollers so you can move it around--be careful, they since into asphalt.
They sell a cover for it, but it's, unfortunately a piece of expensive garbage, the doesn't hold up to U/V rays and weather too well.
