Holy CRAP that's a lot of damage for the speed. Are you sure somebody didn't come along and hit it again after the crash? Good on ya about all the gear, good about the injuries, good about he boss, the insurance, and the luck. And better luck with your replacement feejer.
yeah, I was wondering...for "feel sorry" effect, did the bike fall out of the truck or trailer on the way home

just kiddin' ... I know, I know, warped bad sense of humor

Ok guys that's enough. No more crashing. These things come in threes so be careful peeps. Greg, heal fast and maybe we can find a 2 for 1 deal on new FJRs. Atleast a volume discount....

Geez, Very glad you (and I mean YOU) making this post.

That was quite a slide off.

Thanks for sharing that and know that prayers for a speedy recovery are sent to ya, and Thanks for the blessing of protection from more serious injuries.

Thanks for posting this. So good to know you’re not seriously injured. It’s a bit of a Gut Check seeing and hearing of your unfortunate get off. I’ll carry these images with me for some time and let your experience be a reminder to me to heed the road conditions in greater detail when all seems a bit too easy.

STAY FOCUSED and ATGATT.

"Feel Better Real Soon!" :drinks: Keep us posted on your progress with the aftermath of this incident.

Keep Going!

Dang it man! That's no way to be as one with nature! Glad you're at home and not laid up in the horsepistol and sounds like you've got some good patient advocates on your side. Unfortunately it looks like your helmet pics qualify for my thread from a few months ago, https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php?s...=123611&hl= welcome to the club, but don't become a repeat member! Heal up quick!

Oh, man. Very sorry to hear about your accident. That bike is f**ked up--there doesn't seem to be two pieces still in alignment. But it sounds like you are not too worse for wear, thank goodness.

Yeah, there's some bent **** there alright. Sorry for your misfortune. I sometimes catch myself sightseeing when I should be focusing on the road. Thanks for posting the details of the incident. It's good reminder to me to ATGATT and not to let my attention wander, as I am prone to do.

Que lastima, hombre. So sorry and very damn happy that you're relatively OK from your crash. The other folks are so right, this one could have been much worse. And a big Plus One on your new friends and supervisor, sounds to me like you're surrounded by good people up in Redding. Take care, mi Amigo; Suerte! Heal Quickly!!!

Yeh! she's toast for sure, but glad to hear you made it out O.K.

Get well, and start shopping for a new one.

Dave

Greg, on a good note that Neutral light will go out by itself in a few days.

Glad to hear you are OK, the bike looks pretty nasty...

:assassin: Yeesh! You no do dat a-gain!

Glad you're OK and ATGATT! Corona makes the Vicodin work more efficaciously, just in case . . . . but I didn't say that

Gregory, you survived a bad one from the looks of the bike. You were indeed spared with the help of Divine Intervention, IMHO. Rest, take you pain meds and all the best for your rapid recovery.
