Bike looks great. Im thinking of swapping my 2005 for one. Could you give me some reasons to trade other then I really want a new bike? Any other colors available? Looks great for sure.

Whoooo! That was a good one ed!

I was actually thinking about trying my gloss black 08 fender on there to match my smuggler and see how it looks. right now the smuggler is on there and I am not liking the black with the Stoem grey....

insert pic here.

The gen2 seats and smugler do fit.

also my pazzo levers fit (see Pic).

The screen goes up and down real fast and smooth.

The digital speedo is real easy to see.

The side panel is a peice of cake to adjust and will not be able to become detached at 115MPH (Jeremy).

The A,B,C,D and now E panels look to be super easy to move as there is now a seperate peice under the dash.

The light brackets that I have from gerauld will NOT fit on there mirrors as there is a recess that the mirrors fit into.

Some one asked about the differences between this and an 05 what can i say.....night and day, there is zero heat felt from the motor, I rode it home today in mid 80's temps and didn't feal any heat at all on my legs or anywhere else.

The beak on the front is a vent that allows air up between a panel and the dash i now i think about it i didnt notice any turbulance on the way home in traffic.

The lower fairings show No attaching screws and as of now I have no idea how they come off, that will of course change very soon.

what else?

Congratulations and thanks for the bike **** shots!

I agree with whomever said that your photos are more appealing than anything I've seen in the press so far. Maybe it's a Ginger/Maryann thing?

Looking forward to hearing lots more about it.

Now I get to be one of those jealous *******s proclaiming the inferiority of the current machine...sigh

Nice ride!

What are the last numbers of your VIN? And what is it's born-on date?

Well, I'll chime in.

After a 2 year hiatus from riding my '05 due to a nerve pinch in the ole' neck, I've had my 65,000+ mile bike up 4 sale. Now after the neck surgery is complete, I may(?) be considering keeping it. However, it is still a nut roaster.

I do like the LARGE gills on the 2013, and may do some cutting (with body panel reinforcement) on my '05 in the future to get more air flow out of my "Vintage" Feeger = "keweling".

Hey Gerauld, need a dual side panel paint project in Galaxy Blue?

Question?

Can a Gen II "curved" radiator bolt on to a Gen I?

2013 looks good in your driveway..I bet it looks even better going on the road! Enjoy, ride safe, it's a real head turner!

I do love the looks of it. Cant wait to see one in person. By the way. I realize that FJR's like most jap bikes only come in one color per year. I was just thinking a saw a picture of a different color. Maybe it was not for the US. Very nice though. i want one.

Wow Awesome new bike! I'm jealous. It does look good. Yamaha made some really nice refinements. Can't wait to see one in person and maybe take one for a ride.

Thanks for taking the time to post the photos........and the color certainly looks a lot better than anything I have seen in Yamaha's photos.

How about the suspension? Granted you haven't been able to put it through the paces but what is your impression of the suspension in comparison to a OEM GENII or your 08 with upgraded suspension?
