Last August I told you all that our son Jim was diagnosed with a Ewings sarcoma - a pediatric tumor in his 26 year old clevis bone (base of the skull). Jim has undergone chemo from roughly Jul 09 until about 3 weeks ago. In the middle of that (and in addition to the chemo) he received radiation. I am happy to report that Jim's end of treatment scan showed that he is cancer free! From the start both Jim's oncologist and radiologist said Ewings is "very cureable." Looks like they were right. Jim has gone through quite an ordeal and he did it with great courage and patience - he is a good man.

I appreciate the prayers offerred by folks here and it sure feels good that we can all "get on with it."

Glad to hear the good news, my son is 25 and I can vividly imagine what devastating diagnosis this must have been at the time.

Wishing your son a very healthy, happy and productive future!

Always good to see someone pull this off and beat cancer.

Jim,

That is really fantastic news! I was afraid to open this thread but am now very glad that I did. More power to your son for having toughed out such a serious obstacle in his life. Good luck to him for many worry free years down the road.

Chris

Good news for you and your whole family. I remeber the first post and like Axe was a little nervous.

Thank God for happy endings.

Awesome Report.

Praise God, for the healing pathways. A tremendous testimony he will able to share with other young people

who may be going through similar circumstances.....

May God continue to Bless your family.

Great News Jim!!

I, too, was reluctant to open the thread, fearing bad news.

I'm so relieved to see it is good.

Here's to a long and happy life for your boy.

Sounds like it's the best news you could have gotten Jim. May fortune continue to smile upon you and yours.

Great news.
