Ummm...Some jackass I know hasn't even bothered to reserve a room yet. I guess I better get on it. Sheesh!

I kinda hope you can't get a room so I can laugh at you all weekend for not being able to be at your own fricken rally site.

OK so haven't looked at the NAFO posts for a while and to my surprise you guys picked a location right in my backyard! S0 count me in. I won't be staying at the hotel though as its only 35 min from my house ---- although I might stay at my riding buddy's house right around the corner. He rides an FJR Also What fun.

I called the hotel back and asked why I didn't get confirmation for my reservation and they said they had the wrong email address. I then asked why I am being charged $117/night and not the $110 other rally attendees are getting. She looked again and said there is a block of rooms set aside for the rally and dbl queens are available. Well, I said, how about it? She has to wait for the supervisor to get back for an answer. I might have to bring her to my room and give her nice spanking.

Ok, Stephanie just called back to confirm I am in with the group rate and a double queen room. After Zbear grabbed one there are now 23 left and 25 kings available.

I now have a king room reserved. I decided to show up on the 27th. I'm either going to be doing dirt stuff with Wayne and his other degenerate friends a few days prior, or C and I will show up a day early to just chill, go see a movie, and hang out. We'll ride the morning of the 28th, but be back early to greet people.

Bug, Marty is handling the shirts also. They look super cool, and should be spelled right. However, keep it up, and I'll be sure to have him ship your shirt to me before the rally. I'll customize it for you!

Well crap, that sucks!! However, you are correct. Not only about vacation days, but the gross cost of every trip. This is why I'm unsure of the dirt portion of NAFO. IF I do that, I'll have to trailer my KTM and the FJR to our set off point, and when we're done with that, I'll have to trailer to Montrose and switch bikes. C will have to drive up separately. The sheer cost of that may prove to be too much.

I guess we'll see, and we'll miss you either way Joe!!
