Thanks for the responses. I don't drink, but that doesn't stop me from having a good time. I'll have to see what I can do to get down there.

Oh good, we need a sober one in our parking-lot socials, mainly to report back on the actuality of it all. Sometimes the fish stories get.... well you know :)

Haha, yeah I suppose.

Do we get a discount at the Days Inn for the event?

Being that you live right there in cheeseland, if we say "Yes" then you have to attend. 'nuff said, yes.

Usually it ends up being an event/group rate which usually equates to around the lodgings Corporate rate. Not a huge discount, but I bet it's enough to buy you a 12 pack of Beer Pepsi each nite... u know...for the monumental, earth shaking, gar smok'n, BS session parking-lot socials.

You won't be the only one not drinking. There won't be many, but you won't be alone.

The room rate for NAFO will be $69 per night, normally on weekends the rate goes up to $99. Don't start calling the hotel just yet and the online reservations will not recognize the discounted rate. This and more info will be available on the NAFO IIII web site once that's up and running, guess I should get going on that sometime

If I try and book something online now for a regular single king room it's advertised for $68.80 for the 18th to 21st. That's with their stay three nights and save 20% deal.

Reading the fine print...

Rate Description: Stay 3, Save 20 Percent No Cancel, No Refund, Cannot Be Changed. This Rate Requires Full Non-Refundable Pre-Payment and cannot be changed or cancelled.

Italics and bold added by me for emphasis.

You should try to make the weekend, I have been down for several of the CFO gatherings and it is a fun time. The parking lot gatherings are great and all the folks are willing to discuss any and all farkles on their FJR's.

I only have a drink or two socially. I'm sure you will find many others to hang out with and enjoy the evenings as much as the days riding!

Hey Snowman -

Get your FJR over to Sir Ben's bike night and I'll fill you in on the rally. You won't want to miss it.
