Apologies - did not read every post but am making all attentions to attend.

..and hoping early reservations are not that important - after all, there is always *somewhere* to sleep, eh?

It's interesting - for all the rides, CBA closer, and what not, this one has my attention?

BTW - I may not be on an FJR. KrZy8 may be terminal, TBD, so don't shoot if I ride up on a 91' HD Ultra, k'? :****:

Glad to hear that you are still considering this, Don. It seems at this point that we have plenty of rooms blocked off. Though one never knows about any last minute rush to get in... ;)

Harleys, or any other make for that matter, are welcome to join in. But what is this about KrZy8? I must have missed it. I'll have to go look for the story behind the story.

Fred, I'm going to book the room.

I'll send you PM on KrZy8 status - all facts not yet in yet.

Aw, jeez.

What kind of a dork takes a Harley to an FJR gathering...

Wife is checking for time off, but if she can get it, we'll be joining the festivities for Friday night and Saturday...on an FJR of course. What else would one ride to such a gathering? ;)

I'm planning to do the 6 gaps ride regardless of what other routes are offered up. Anybody else interested? Their is a short bit of gravel on this route. Google "6 gaps vermont" for more info.

I've already been fooled into following you twice but if Polish heritage kicks in again I may follow just to see you get lost again

Steve,

Thanks for playing the straight man there. ;) The "Six Gaps" is one of the rides we already have planned!! And yes, two of those 6 gaps do have short unpaved sections. So, we will also be offering up a "Four Gaps" route that cuts out the two unpaved ones in the event of soggy conditions.

Here are the others routes we are planning:

Art's A'dacks Twisty Butt - almost 400 miles of Adirondack twisties. Of course you'll hit the App Gap (Rte 17) on the way!!

Grand Isles and Northern 'Dacks - Ride up through the middle of Lake Champlain over the Grand Isles, then down around the west side of the lake through some choice Adiroindack Park roads.

Islands and Northwest VT - starts up through the grand Isles too, but then turn right and loop around through Vermont's Northwest area. It's pretty quiet up north of Burlington too.

NE Kingdom Loop - a tour of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Some seriously quiet country-side and interesting glacial geography. Might even see a moose or two?

Mt Washington Loop - A big loop over to Mt Washington in New Hampshire, up the auto road, then back. For those who need an elevation fix.

And the route I just test rode and debugged on Friday: VT Villages and Sweepers - a shorter (~250 mile) route that will loop around to the southeast of Stowe, taking you through several quaint VT villages (each seems to have a "Country General Store") and seemingly endless smooth sweepers to enjoy.

FJRed is also talking about adding another route up to Lake Memphremagog north of the border.

We'll have the GPS routing for all of these posted up on theFJR-NERDS web site as soon as we get them all debugged.

On another note, don't forget to get in your orders for FJR-NERDS event tee-shirts and stickers.

They are available on the FJR-NERDS web site now!!

Not if YOU'RE leading.

Yer a glutton for punishment, Bill.

Hey, I only got lost with you once (Ottawa), the other time you guys just lacked commitment to follow me to the best road in North Carolina.

.. and it seems to me, weren't you the guy that was leading on the way to Tofino that got lost a half mile from the hotel? I distinctly remember wondering why you turned into that parking lot to do a UTurn, and then continue on the way we were going. Oh wait a minute.. I get it.. you were trying to ditch me! SOB! Good thing your not that fast, or I'd still be in that parking lot looking for the exit.

Hey, what can I say, I have Spatial Alzheimer's with a side order of Directional Dyslexia.

Dammit, so many good rides and I'm only going to be there for one full day.

Oh? Just making a cameo appearance then?

That's cool. The ride in and the ride out are all part of the VT goodness. See ya there. (and no steak houses planned :p )

Just 100 more days 'till FJR-NERDS '11!! :yahoo:

We now have 45 nerds "registered" for the event on 30 bikes. It's going to be a great time. Why not join in on the fun?

We also, need to have folks get their tee-shirt orders in soon. The dead-line for shirt ordering isn't until July, but we have only 14 shirts ordered so far, and our pricing was established based on printing up a minimum of 25. If you intend on ordering a shirt or stickers please don't wait till the last minute.

COME ON, FOLKS!

Order up them shirts & stickers!

Mrs Pepperell & I will be up that-a-way Sunday the 15th thru Monday the 23th. We'll be camping in VT Sun-Wed, Campfire Wed nite, join the festivities at the hotel Thurs thru Sun, camp Sun nite, head home Mon. Now I'm waiting for the rides to be posted, since we might knock off the longer ones at a more leisurely pace early in the week, then do the shorter ones with the group later. Of course this presumes pristine weather.

Reservations, Registration, Swag orders DONE!

New England Ride Drink Stink (I don't smoke, but I can fart pretty good)

I can't wait!!

I'm really bummed that we won't be able to make it this year. My son is returning next month from the Air Force for good and we have some things to get in order before anymore long trips can take place. I hope you all have a great SAFE time! There's always next year.

Got my shirt and sticker ordered yesterday... looking forward to this very much.

Got to get my planning done on how many days to take to get up there... and back. Direct route, side excursions, curvy roads along the way... decisions, decisions, decisions.
