New member purchased an '09

[finetune]

Joined this site on June 24th and finally found the FJR I was looking for. A 2009 with 1019 miles on the clock. The 24 hour drive to pick it up and bring it home was well worth it. Bike does not have a scratch on it - it's showroom condition. Glad to have it parked next to my hooligan bike, an 09 Vmax.

I've installed the Yamaha trunk, and have ASV levers and an HID kit ordered. Let the farkles begin. Looking forward to sharing information with all of you.

Congrats! Hard to beleive there are used bikes out there with so few miles. Your 09 is just like mine and the Raven Black is the purtiest FJR ever made. :yahoo:

Very nice. I also just got a 09 FJR but I had a few more miles on mine then yours.

Congrats on the purchase!! Had my eye on an '09 as well, but Yamaha decided to put the fastest color on the FJR this year so I went with that instead.

Congrats on the new bike! I have an 08 AE in Granite Gray which I think looks sharp, but that black one of yours is a real beauty also. Enjoy every minute of it.

Nice. Love the Max too. I've got a 95 max in the garage with my FJR. I can't imagine what that thing can do when you open it up. I have seen some videos, but you have to be on one to appreciate the power.
