When I said mid 14s around here that was before sales tax and license. Those will put the total investment into the mid 15s.
As far as I can tell, there's no difference between sport and tour mode except the throttle itself; there's no difference in mapping. I can tell a difference but it's just the amount the throttle has to be turned -- sport is a much quicker throttle. I've got arthritis in my right hand, and the sport mode is wonderful for me. I have trouble getting full throttle on my other bikes without starting with a high wrist -- not so on the FJR.
